Valerie was first asked to deploy a new technology for the greatest impact when she was the Assistant Director for Study Abroad at Georgetown. (True confession: it was a word processor with database capabilities!) Since then her career has focused on both human resources and new technologies, with an emphasis on the intersection of people and technology. She currently directs human resources and focuses on technology for project management, telecommuting, small business, social media and marketing.
